Prime Time America

Prime Time America is a two-hour national drive-time program that encourages listeners to develop a heart and mind for God, while keeping them informed through an evangelical Christian worldview. With guest interviews, features, news, commentaries, occasional call-in sections and music, Prime Time America consistently helps listeners grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
A veteran anchor and solid line-up of regular contributors create a trusted voice for unpacking today’s issues. The “PTA Extras” feature on the Prime Time America Website allows listeners to explore a topic further by providing additional audio and links to key resources. Prime Time America will help your audience unravel today’s issues from a biblical perspective.
Host
Greg Wheatley has been the host of Prime Time America since 1999. Prior to that he was co-host of Mornings with Greg and Chris in Chicago, which aired locally on WMBI. In addition to Prime Time America, Wheatley is also heard on Sound of Majesty, Moody’s hour-long program of hymns and sacred classics.
While he has spent most of his career in Christian broadcasting, Wheatley’s educational background is in music. He received his undergraduate education in music at Spring Arbor College (Michigan), and his master’s degree in music theory from Michigan State University. One of Wheatley’s passions is teaching music, and he currently serves on the adjunct faculties of Moody Bible Institute and the Wheaton College Conservatory. Additionally, he directs the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale, a community chorus based in the western suburbs of Chicago. At his home church, Wheatley directs the College Church Singers.
Wheatley and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters and one son. Jennifer serves as ministry associate in music at College Church.
